My Top 3 Hand Lotions for Dry Winter Skin

I know that winter has finally arrived when I wake up to find peeling and cracked hands. It took me years to find good lotions that would actually repair and replenish the moisture in my hands, not just temporarily fix my dry skin. Today, I’m sharing with you my absolute favorite hand lotions for dry winter hands. My Top 3 Hand Lotions for Dry Winter Skin

1. True Blue Spa Super Softening Hand Lotion: The waterproofing elements of the paraffin in this lotion helps the product soak in and stay on. So, if you wash your hands soon after putting this on, you’ll still find your hands to be moisturized. I use this product every morning and every night, right before bed. That’s all I need to have soft and smooth hands all day! This is my favorite of the three lotions mentioned.

2. Burt’s Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream: This hand cream is made with shea butter and cocoa butter– two highly moisturizing, natural ingredients. It has a heavy, slightly unpleasant peppermint scent, so I only use it at night. It is also a bit greasy. Nonetheless, this cream does its job by making hands soft and supple.

3. Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint Hand Cream: Shea butter is a key ingredient in this lotion, making for soft and creamy hands. This product easily soaks into the skin, and it is not greasy at all. My favorite part about it is the scent; the eucalyptus essential oil helps focus the mind and uplift the spirit, while the spearmint helps stimulate the mind and body. I love to put this lotion on before practicing yoga or meditation. To me, it is an act of self-love to apply this product and be uplifted by its restoring aroma.

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse at my dry hand remedies during the winter months. I love and recommend each and every one of these products.

What is your favorite hand cream?

  1. I feel like this post was written for me today lol. I’ve been suffering from dry skin and haven’t been able to find a product that gives long lasting moisture. I think I’ll have to try the true blue spa lotion, that sounds like it’s right up my alley.

  2. I love the stress relief lotion! My #1 struggle in the Wisconsin winter is dry skin. I may have to try the blue spa lotion, since I constantly wash my hands and the lotion just washes right off. Thanks for the tips!
