I’d like to start getting back to goals, both here on the blog and in my personal life. I tend to hold myself a little more accountable when I write things down. I imagine I’ll feel even more inclined to reach these goals if I post them on the internet for the world to see!
Purchase my domain name & move to self-hosting | I’ve been wanting to take this step for so long. I love blogging, and I’m at the point where I’m ready to take it more seriously. To me, blogging is fun because it is a challenge. I can’t wait to face it head on! If you have any tips or posts to share on this topic, please do!
Blog 3 times per week | June was wedding month. Therefore, I was very absent around here. Now, I’m back home and have lots of free time on my hands to write! I want to get back to my normal, consistent schedule. Maybe next month, I’ll aim for 5 posts per week.
Grow my Instagram by 100 followers | I recently started an Instagram for my blog. If you’re not following me, go check it out at @emwritesblog! I love, love, love Instagram and I think having an account separate from my personal one will give me much more freedom to advertise my blog.
Get to the gym 3 times per week | As I said earlier, June really knocked me out of my routine. It’s time to get back on the horse!
Write 5,000 words of my novel | John and I had a serious talk about this last night. He asked me where I see myself in 20 years, and the first thing that came to my mind was being a published author. He said to me, “If you want to be there in 20 years, you have to start today.” What a wise man I’ve married!
